Bolsa Chica Wetlands

Some recent ones with the Lubitel 2 at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands. An impulse shoot after work. Was in a hurry too to chase the last daylight. This is how I feel these days somewhat. Always trying to catch up. Am I really getting old? But anyways….
I still read a few blogs from time to time. Catch up with fashion and stuff. But there is only one blog that I religiously follow these days and that is This is Naive. Her photographs, her daily notes on just about anything, her insights are so inspiring. Makes me smile.

I think I was around 7 at that time. I lived in a small town in the Philippines and would dream about being a ballet dancer. But I was not really into dancing and such. Now I realize it was just about the tutus and the ballet shoes……

On a bright and cloudless L.A. day, I set the aperture to f/8 instead of f/16 for shutter speed of 1/125 to get some muted red tones.
