Took these months ago at the Grand Central Market in Downtown Los Angeles. Had a few shots left then in my LC-A+ and finished it all up here. I need to go back….

Because of this passion(or addiction hehe) for film photography, I’ve stepped inside the Huntington Library and Gardens thrice already this year. Which is good…I think that’s good….especially since the roses were all in full bloom….

Tried the new Lomography Orca B&W 110 film with a Holga 110 camera. Really liking the contrast and the grain. The Holga 110 lends the vintage feel too and I like that.

Happy birthday Victoria! All my love from Los Angeles to Reno :)
It’s my friend Vici’s birthday today. Met her through the lomography community. Our friendship started last year sparked by comments on each other’s photos as well as our love for pastries, the sun, the beach and yes, photography. I haven’t met her in person but I consider her now one of my dear friends. We plan to meet this year.
And then I sit and pause…and smile. I’m thankful for photography and the Lomography community. More than a year ago I never imagined talking and having connections with friends from Madrid, Taiwan, Vienna, Paris, Thailand, etc…and also forming new connections from my motherland, The Philippines. And also writing to a new friend who is cycling around the world and taking photos with his LC-A+.
Or in the case of Victoria, I never thought I will have a friendship and share all these passions with someone almost as young as my mom :). It’s sweet.
Photography is so inspiring and the Lomo community makes it more fun.

But anyways….happy birthday Victoria!
